Production Support Manager (Trading) – Linux, Windows, ITIL, Front Office 

A world leading financial services technology firm based in the City of London, is looking for an Application Support Manager to head up the front office Trading Application Support team on a permanent basis. 

Leading the teams working in a mixed operating system environment (Linux/Red Hat and Windows), you will work to identify and implement new processes, procedures and automated solutions, ensuring an excellent and professional service is provided at all times.

You will work closely with the support teams in London and Sydney following current support processes to ensure all incidents are resolved efficiently, and any changes are implemented successfully. 

Essential Criteria:
  • 2+ years of management experience in an application support role within Financial Services is essential
  • Experience working in a global production environment
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux Server OS
  • Good understanding of Enterprise infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Firewall, CDN, Load Balancing, VM etc)
  • Experience of working within an ITIL framework
  • Business continuity planning, documentation and validation
