Russell McIntyre
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Russell’s role involves shaping and implementing strategy across all areas of the business, as well as driving commercial recruitment activity, managing external partner relationships and taking ultimate accountability for the financial aspects of the business. He also operates as Chair of our growing Diversity & Inclusion programme, encompassing initiatives across all areas of Diversity, both internally and externally with our clients.
Russell began his recruitment career in 1997 after graduating from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1994 and then spending 3 years working in FX Markets. He recruited extensively within the Buy Side markets before establishing from scratch our Insurance and Digital & Media practices. His previous recruitment career comprised working for City Consultants, Sheffield Haworth and Drax Dearman prior to joining Cornwallis Elt in 2003, where he held both the Sales and Finance Director titles before moving into his current role of Chief Operating Officer.
As well as spending time with family, Russell enjoys golf and running to competitive levels, in addition to wider endurance sports, skiing and mountaineering.
