The WIT initiative is currently very much at the forefront of our clients’ recruitment strategies. In the last few years, we have attended multiple client led events focused on their commitment to D&I campaigns and partnering with agencies to attract and retain diverse talent. We have helped clients in implementing, supporting and communicating recruitment strategies to attract females including:
Encouraging flexible working hours and working from home
Improving return to work policies (such as post-maternity)
Promoting female role models internally
Championing “returnships” for experienced professionals who have taken an extended career break
Utilising “top talent” functions on client portals to upload outstanding female talent
Including female team members wherever possible during the interview process
In addition to supporting client events, we have facilitated events across our network to share content and offer an interactive forum for discussion. In partnership with Women in Tech Club, a network of technologists committed to the D&I agenda, we have hosted online webinars on behalf of their community covering career development tips.
