Women In Tech

just 19% of people working in Technology in the uk are female

As a leading recruitment supplier of technology candidates, this statistic is something we are constantly aware of. We see daily how under-represented women are in the sector and we are doing our utmost to address this through promoting a positive change.

Cornwallis Elt is very proud of its work in this field and our dedicated Women in Technology (WIT) Leadership team who help support this agenda. Working both internally across the company and externally with our clients, they aim to support client driven and broader industry initiatives to engage with, attract and retain female talent within the workforce.

We are signatories of both the Tech Talent Charter and Tech She Can Charter in conjunction with PwC, as well as being members of APSCo Women in Recruitment and their Embracing Diversity programme. Our WIT promoters are frequently attending all kinds of relevant industry gatherings and working in collaboration with our clients to promote their own events, often hosting these on their behalf.
