Our client is a well-known specialty (re)insurer specialising in the acquisition of legacy and run-off businesses and portfolios and they are looking for a highly experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution and delivery of all IT projects throughout the organization.
Key accountabilities Include:
- Manage and deliver complex IT projects and ensuring they align with the companies governance processes using a structured approach to achieve this.
- Liaise effectively with 3rd parties and partners or vendors involved in project execution as well as managing and maintaining strong internal stakeholder relationships.
- Create and run effective project steering meetings across the organization as well as providing projects KPIs and allocating resources for project delivery.
- Manage projects in accordance with company governance and risk management framework ensuring all deliverables are compliant with company and industry regulations.
- Experience delivering complex concurrent projects and working with senior management and C-suite.
- An ability to lead, manage and deliver complex insurance M&A Integration Projects covering IT, Data, Process Improvement and so on.
- Strong understanding of Insurance is required, with a preference to candidates who have an understanding of 'run off'.
- An industry recognised Project Management qualification/accreditation.
