Java Developer - Java, Spring, REST APIs, Oracle, Linux, Credit Trading, Investment Banking, London - paying up to £86,000
My Client, A Tier 1 Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their London Team on a permanent Basis.
You will join their Credit Trading team, assisting with the enhancement of their current Trading Platform. You would be working across the improvements of their current Java codebase, assist with refactoring some legacy code whilst following a test-driven development methodology. In addition, you would be required to build new features from scratch, assisting with the overall performance and accessibility of the platform.
To be successful in this role, you would need the following:
• Strong hands-on coding experience utilising Java within a Financial Service Environment.
• Good experience utilising the Spring framework is essential
• Prior expertise utilising Oracle for database/warehouse management is highly beneficial
• Previous experience working in teams following an agile methodology is beneficial
• Prior experience working within Investment Banking is highly beneficial, in particular, Credit Risk/Trading
