Project Manager

Location: Manchester (2 days per week)

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join an insurance client of ours. You will be responsible for delivering strategic projects end-to-end, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline expectations. Working closely with business, data, and technology teams, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving transformation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet key success criteria and KPIs.
  • Leading project governance and reporting to maintain transparency and alignment with best practices.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise and deliver business-critical initiatives.
  • Proactively tracking progress, managing risks, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Overseeing resource planning and allocation for efficient project execution.
  • Driving the adoption of new solutions and ensuring a smooth implementation process.
  • Producing high-quality project documentation to maintain clear records and communication.
  • Building and leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience managing and delivering large-scale projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working across multiple teams and levels.
  • A proactive and structured approach to project management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, tailored for different audiences.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and external partners.
  • Experience in the Lloyd’s of London Market is a plus.
  • Knowledge of transformation projects and outsourcing is highly desirable.
