Job Title: Solutions Architect - VP
Location: Hybrid (Northampton)
Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 per annum
Our client, a financial service provider, are on the lookout for a permanent Solutions Architect - VP to join their payments team in payment gateways and acquiring processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of payment solutions, focusing on payment gateways and acquiring processes.
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks and frameworks to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and governance standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into actionable architectural designs.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in the payments industry, proactively suggesting innovations and improvements.
- Mentor and guide development teams, ensuring seamless integration of architectural designs into implementation.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, with a strong background in the financial services industry.
- Expertise in payments systems, with specific knowledge of payment gateways and acquiring processes.
- Strong understanding of API design and integration, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Proficiency in architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial and payments industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions.
