Strategic Partnerships Manager - B2B – Membership – Defence – London - £60,000

My client, a Leading Digital Global Media company, is looking for an independent Partnership Manager to take the lead to develop strategic relationships within a new and exciting area in the Defence Industry.

You will focus on developing and leading strategic partnerships within the Defence Industry with attention to subscription audiences. The role requires the ability to create small, exclusive member events that offer access to individuals typically not available in everyday settings. This position ideally suits someone who has experience working in membership organisations, particularly in leading strategic partnerships to facilitate member-style events. An existing network within the industry would be advantageous, although not a requirement. The role demands a high level of gravitas and credibility, to be successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience: Over 5 years in partnership management, sponsorship sales, or business development, with a successful history of managing partnerships for events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Communication & Negotiation: Skilled in presenting value propositions, negotiating contracts, and managing partner expectations effectively.
• Relationship Building: Strong track record of fostering and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including corporate sponsors and media partners.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to align partnerships with overall business goals and create strategies for long-term success.
• Analytical Skills: Expertise in assessing sponsorship ROI and event performance, using insights to optimize partnership outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work across departments, leading initiatives to ensure smooth execution of partnership activities.
• Membership Experience: Preferred but not required.
