This is a key role in ensuring internal and external audit findings are supported with clear, consistent, and compliant evidence of remediation.

This opportunity offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a mix of remote and on-site work. The role will be based in Birmingham.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT service management process owners and subject matter experts to create accurate and robust documentation supporting the closure of internal and external audit findings.
  • Review supporting artefacts to ensure they are complete, consistent, and audit-ready.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the audit documentation framework and supporting processes.

Skills:

  • Proven experience producing formal IT documentation – such as policies, procedures, terms of reference, and senior management briefings – which can stand up to audit and regulatory scrutiny.
  • Comfortable absorbing complex technical concepts and translating them into clear, well-structured written content tailored to non-technical audiences.
  • Able to manage small documentation projects, balancing multiple priorities, adapting to shifting timelines, and working under pressure.
  • A basic understanding of risk frameworks and banking regulations would be advantageous.

  • Hybrid working arrangements and two days of paid volunteering leave annually.
