As is tradition, Cornwallis Elt will be making a donation to a chosen charity this Christmas. After the events of this year, we have decided to donate to Tabletochki. Tabletochki is the biggest childhood cancer charity in Ukraine. Since 2011, Tabletochki has been creating favourable conditions for high-end medical care and psychological support and improving Ukrainian children's quality of life with cancer and their families during and after treatment. The Big Dream and the Foundation's vision are that no Ukrainian child dies of cancer.
The war has changed everything but Tabletohcki's vision. In wartime, Tabletochki continues to help families with children battling cancer and develop childhood cancer care in Ukraine through its regular programs:
Regular integral support of major hospitals with pediatric oncology units
Targeted family support. (For those who are in Ukraine and those who have been evacuated because of the war and are currently continuing their treatment abroad).
Continuous professional development of medical personnel
Advocacy and GR activities to improve the quality and outcomes of treatment/cure
