Business Change Delivery Lead – Agile, Transformation, Insurance, Technology – Permanent, Birmingham, Hybrid, £90k-110k base + package
Our client, a specialist insurer, are seeking a Business Change Delivery Lead to drive complex business and technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivering measurable benefits.
You’d be responsible for delivering initiatives across their full lifecycle from idea generation through to benefits realisation, adopting a risk-based approach. You’ll manage activities, resources, budget and people to achieve desired outcomes and enable strategic initiatives
The role also requires close collaboration with relevant stakeholders to embed change in the business, focusing on how colleagues transition to the new change.
Key responsibilities/Competencies
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the organisation’s business and technology landscape.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of change and technology initiatives. Ensuring alignment to roadmaps and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on a clear vision and ensure business readiness. Defining OKRs to measure progress and mitigate risk.
• Manage resources, budgets, and risks to achieve project success. Planning in accordance with the business’ governance processes.
• Embed best practices in change management, planning, and benefits tracking.
• Mentor and upskill team members to achieve excellence.
• Build relationships with trading and operational teams, senior management and others. Ensuring all relevant staff receive clear and frequent updates regarding initiatives.
Person specification:
• Proven experience in delivering both business and technology change projects.
• Strong people management skills with a track record of mentoring teams.
• Expertise in project and change management methodologies (Agile PM certification preferred).
• Industry experience in financial services required for general commercial and financial knowledge (Insurance/Lloyd’s specific is beneficial but not essential).
• A deep understanding of business and technology landscapes.
