Cyber Security Engineer - Permanent - £90,000 - London - Insurance
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to join our Insurance clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and investigating security incidents within a 24/7 SOC service environment. The role involves incident response, providing actions and recommendations to mitigate potential risks, and ensuring the security posture of their organisation. The candidate must be able to work independently and demonstrate a strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, incident response processes, and effective security controls.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting vulnerability assessments
- Monitoring and Incident Detection, reporting and documentation
- Security tools management
- Threat intelligence and analysis
Necessary Requirements:
- Accredited in Cyber Security certificate: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH
- Knowledge of Cyber frameworks: NIST/CSF, Mitre Att&ck
- Familiarity with security standards and best practices (ISO27001, PCI-DSS)
