Data Analyst – Financial Services – Contract Opportunity – Nottingham
Our client, a leading Pension Scheme Provider in the UK, are looking for a Data Analyst to join their Nottingham office on a 9-month contract. You will be joining their Operations team supporting the business across a variety of projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, development and maintenance of data products, pipelines and infrastructure. Alongside this, you will be working closely with senior business members to ensure data is properly collected, stored and processed.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in Financial Services or a similarly regulated industry.
Key Skills
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Data Analyst or related field
- Strong proficiency in using SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Knowledge of Dremio for SQL is highly advantageous
- Experience using Power BI for creating data visualisation and dashboards
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies is beneficial
- Awareness of AWS cloud infrastructure is desirable (e.g. S3 and Glue)
