Data Analyst / Modeller – Python, SQL, VBA, Tooling, Data Mapping, Data Modelling, Index – Financial Service – Contract – £600/day - £800/day
My client, a leading Financial Markets Infrastructure organisation, are seeking a small team of Data Modeller / Data Analyst to join their London based team on a contract basis.
They are currently undergoing a large scale operations transformation surrounding the way data is distributed between their systems (Index Management, Real Time, Pricing etc). The pain point within this programme is the journey from the raw data being uploaded and this becoming usable data within the systems. You will be delivering operational tooling to support this journey and its users, as well as working with the business leads and data architecture functions to understand the data definition and usage before delivering the relevant tooling.
To be successful in this role you will need;
- Proven Data Analysis / Modelling / Mapping experience within the Financial Services industry (ideally within the Capital Markets / Investment Banking space)
- Proven experience developing operational tooling
- In depth understanding of data structures, data sourcing and data capture
- Proven experience building tooling within Python / SQL / VBA
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
