Graduate Market Data Analyst - Fund Management , Newcastle, Permanent, £33,000
We are currently seeking a Graduate Market Data Analyst to join our client, a specialist fund management consultancy, in the heart of Newcastle. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will support the trading desk, enhance processes, and work on projects that shape global financial markets.
Key responsibilities:
• Support the Trading desk with Market Data operations, projects, BAU activities, and documentation
• Look for opportunities for automation
• Assist in software issue resolution and risk management
• Participate in on-call rotations
Key skills
• 2:1 degree (Economics or related field), ideally from a Russell Group university
• Knowledge of financial markets (funds, investment banks, etc.)
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Understanding of asset classes (Equities, Bonds, Derivatives)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
