Programme Director – Technology Risk and Controls, Technology Resilience, Sheffield
Our client, a leading global bank is seeking a Programme Director to lead a Technology Risk and Controls programme from inception to completion. You will be the strategic leader responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our global technology risk and controls programme.
Principal responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive global technology risk and controls strategy aligned with the bank's overall risk management framework.
• Lead a team of experienced risk professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality risk assessments and controls.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, to align risk management objectives with business goals.
• Oversee the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of technology risks across all business units.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining a proactive approach to emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Foster a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement, promoting best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the bank's risk posture.
Skills and experience:
• Proven experience in technology risk management, with a significant portion in a leadership role within the banking or financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in technology risk and controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.
