A highly respected, forward thinking Insurance firm operating in the Lloyd’s of London Market is searching for a Senior Technology Analyst to join their London Market Tech Services team which supports the operational efficiencies of business-critical systems across the firm.
As the first hire into a new team, you will be assisting the Head of the London Market Technology Services to shape and plan core strategic initiatives, whilst managing and monitoring the Group IT functions. You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirement, create roadmaps and improve processes as well as act as a point of escalation for issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with various business stakeholders to develop and discuss problem statements and subsequently review proposals for change.
- Act as an escalation point for day-to-day issues and help to manage these with Technology, Data and Change services as well as building KPI’s.
- Work with the business to keep up to date with the market, including large scale changes such as Blueprint II.
- A strong background and working knowledge of the nuances of the Lloyd’s Market.
- An ability to apply a good overall understanding of the operational functions and wider core business activities of the Managing Agent.
- An ability to work with stakeholders to understand problem statements and requirements.
