DevOps Infrastructure Engineer – DevOps, Infrastructure, Azure, CI/CD tooling, Monitoring, Incident Management, Problem Management, Troubleshoot – Financial Services – Up to £85,000 Base + Bonus + Benefits
My client, a well-established and growing independent Private Bank based in the City of London are seeking an IT Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join their London office on a permanent basis.
You will work within the IT Infrastructure Operations team and will be asked to take ownership for building and setting up their DevOps practice from scratch. You will be managing and supporting the platforms for all key systems and services, suggesting tools and technologies in which the practice will utilise. You will collaborate closely with dynamic team of other Infrastructure Engineers, defining and embedding DevOps best practices across teams, setting design patterns for infra-automation, assuring the security of cloud infrastructure, the management and deployment of Azure resources, cost management and security management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in establishing DevOps practices from the ground up and providing strategic guidance on most effective tools to optimize best business outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will need:
• Proven experience in setting up DevOps and Infrastructure automation design patterns and best practice.
• Experience of establishing standards, tools, and processes to be used by the team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong experience of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment using Azure DevOps Tooling.
• Strong experience of DevOps, Azure Pipelines and GitLab CI/CD tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external groups in a team environment to improve overall customer service and support.
• Financial services background would be beneficial.
