Quality Assurance Engineer – Java, Cucumber, FX, Message Processing, SQL, FIX, XML – Permanent – London/ Hybrid – Paying £110,000 - £128,000 base + package
My client, a Tier 1 Investment bank, are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their London based office on a permanent basis. You will be joining their foreign exchange function, working on their award-winning trading platform, collaborating with both the sales and trading teams.
Your main responsibility will be to conduct hands-on quality assurance testing, utilising Cucumber, and Java for scripting.
Ideal skillset:
- Previous experience of front-to-back testing of trading platforms, planning and executing all test activities
- Proven hands-on ability scripting with Java and hands-on experience with Cucumber is essential.
- Experience using FIX, XML is essential
- Prior experience working with Kafka for unit and integration testing, is preferred
- Having previously worked in an Agile environment, utilising BDD/TDD practices is highly beneficial
- Prior financial service experience, preferably within an Investment Bank, is preferred.
