Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – Automation, Java, Python, Confluence, Test Rail, Performance - Contract – London - Hybrid
My client, a leading Financial Services organisation based in London, is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their Data & Analytics team on a contract basis.
You will be responsible for creating and executing Test Plans/Cases to validate business and technical requirements, ensuring functionality meets expectations. This includes designing and maintaining automation scripts, performing functional, regression, integration, and performance, and storing results in Test Management Tools for audit purposes. You will collaborate with Product Teams and SMEs to define acceptance criteria, complete test reports, and build automation frameworks from scratch using Java and Python.
Ideal Skillset:
- Strong experience in creating and executing functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java and Python for automation scripting.
- Familiarity with Test Management Tools such as Test Rail and Confluence.
- Experience with performance testing metrics (latency, throughput, capacity, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly working with Product Teams and SMEs.
