Test Automation Analyst (SDET)
Birmingham - Hybrid
£55,000-£60,000 per annum
We are looking for a Test Automation Analyst to join our client, a global Fund Management firm, with their growth in Birmingham. The purpose of this position is to function as a Test Automation Analyst, working competently with the GTO Quality Assurance staff, primarily performing execution and maintenance of automated test scripts, documenting, and reporting results. This is a technical role. The position will maintain existing automated test scripts, extending their usefulness and validity.
Key responsibilities:
- Execution of simple and moderate automated test scripts when required.
- Maintain test script to a usable and valid standard
- Correct test scripts where previous failures are present.
Key Skills:
- Application development or other relevant experience
- Automated or manual testing experience
- Java and C# coding languages
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Desirable
- Experience with test automation and management tools, e.g., Selenium Web Driver, WinApp Driver, Azure DevOps, Postman
- Understanding of Object-oriented Programming, C#/VB.Net, Powershell, Visual Studio
- Experience with coding UI testing, e.g., Microsoft UI Automation
- Understanding of web technologies: ASP.Net/MVC, REST Services, JSON
